Organismal Biology - The Application of Biology to SocietyOrganismal Biology is a field of study that refers to the study of organisms from their origin, through their whole life cycle, and all the way through death. It includes research in ecology, ecology biology, and evolutionary biology as well as cell and tissue culture and morphogenesis. The field is not limited to the study of animals only, but also studies of bacteria, plants, and fungi.In addition to it being a branch of science, it is also the closest we have to live in the animal kingdom. If you think about it, animals and plants seem to be on the same planet. Their life cycles are very similar, even their metabolisms are similar. Therefore, studying these types of life could be beneficial for other types of research in the future. And it helps to further the knowledge of animals and plants that they share our world with us.Although, we cannot be certain that all the theories in this branch of study will prove to be correc t, and as scientists continue to investigate and study animal evolution, it seems like more pieces will come into place. We've all seen the endless amount of movies and television shows dealing with the 'evolution' of animals. It has become a part of popular culture.Most movies and shows that deal with animal evolution will use live specimens of animals. For instance, in the movie 'Finding Nemo', the sea lion character was placed in an aquarium, and this aquarium was filled with thousands of live fish. This aquarium was then used to help research animal evolution. By doing this, we can understand how the fish evolved into what they are today.Not only can we learn from studying how animals in this part of biology to develop, but also how they die and leave behind their parts. This type of information can be very helpful in understanding why animals do what they do, and how they react when things happen to them that they aren't expecting. It gives us a glimpse into what animals are th inking and also gives us insight into their lives.We know that from fossils we can get an idea of what animals were doing in different stages of development, and this provides information in various forms. So if we know that a specific animal was part of a certain phase of its life cycle, then it's wise to keep an eye out for it's descendants in the future. Likewise, by studying the tissues, and cells in those offspring, we will gain valuable insight. Then, if something is wrong, we can find out where the problem is before it becomes too late.If you are interested in this type of research, you should look into trying to figure out how certain types of animal species develop their limbs, teeth, eyes, and ears. Or, if you would like to know how animals are affected by diseases, you can try to find out more information about how certain ones are able to resist such illnesses as HIV and leukemia. And, if you would like to see a new mutation in a certain kind of animal, you can do this a s well.So by knowing all that is involved in the study of life, we can live longer, healthier lives. It gives us the opportunity to improve upon ourselves by learning what animals in this field of study do. But, if you are interested in this type of research, you should see if there is a course or institution that you can attend to get a degree.
